The FAQ’s about “California Dreamin’…”

After spending a day talking to you guys, we’ve found out that there are some uncertainties surrounding our “California Dreamin’…” Contest. Here are the answers to some of the most asked questions…

1. It’s freezing outside and you really want me to wear my swimsuit?

Though people typically wear swimsuits to the beach, we aren’t expecting you to wear yours to our restaurants! Here are some ideas we came up with while creating the contest:

- Wearing floaties over your business suit

- Wearing snorkeling gear while also wearing your heaviest winter coat

- Wearing your scuba suit (I’ve heard those are warm)

2. How much creativity are you looking for?

We’re not judging the contest, so as long as you get the most “likes” on Facebook, we can’t tell you how creative you should be. Though you might be able to get your friends to “like” your photo with minimal effort, we’re betting that other HDYR? fans will be more likely to “like” the photo if it gives them a chuckle. But hey, if you have 5,000 friends, that might be enough to win.

3. How do I get the most “likes” on Facebook?

Anyone can like the photo once it’s posted the HDYR? Facebook page. You can also share the photo with your friends via the “share” button.

After clicking share, it’ll give you options to post on your own wall, a friends wall, and a group or send it in a private message. Very important tip and it has to do with the way Facebook is set up- you should direct your friends to click on the photo so it links to our HDYR? page and then they can like the photo. If they click “like” on the shared post, it does not translate to a “like” on our page.

4. How do I post the photo on the HDYR? Facebook?

The answer to this really depends on what device you’re using. Most camera phones can upload pictures to our page, but it’ll depend on what type of phone you have and your data service.

From a computer, go to our wall and next to “share,” click photo. Then follow Facebook’s directions from there.

5. I have a long time to enter, right?

We know that January 31^st at 11:59 p.m. seems like it’s a lifetime away, but we purposely gave you a while to enter so that you had time to campaign for the most “likes.”
